“We love the direction and combination of different patterns! We are excited.”
Cathy S.
A couple in Fort Thomas, KY wanted a bedroom that honored their home's early 1900s character while reflecting their love of bold, modern design.
They envisioned the space as an intentional departure from their neutral main living areas—a retreat that felt both rooted in history and refreshingly contemporary. We designed a vibrant bedroom that marries historic charm with modern sensibility, creating a space that feels collected and personal.

The peacock wallpaper became our feature—a stunning mix of historic foliage patterns rendered in modern colors that perfectly captures the balance they were after.
We paired this dramatic backdrop with a turned-post bed that nods to the home's heritage, then introduced modern profiles through pieces like the boucle ottoman. The dresser and nightstands feature cleaner, simpler lines, keeping the focus on the wallpaper and bed while providing essential function.

This bedroom does exactly what the couple hoped—it creates a moody, pattern-rich escape that celebrates both the home's history and their contemporary style.
