“You are the BEST!! Thank you so much for helping us with this monster project. Could not have done it without you!”
Sara F.
A family in Fort Thomas, KY returned from travels to Yellowstone with a vision for their kitchen—they wanted to capture that same connection to nature through earthy yellows, warm tans, and dramatic black-and-white contrast.
The challenge was improving the flow and function of their long, narrow kitchen without expanding the footprint. We designed an earthy, nature-inspired kitchen that balances high contrast with organic warmth.

We borrowed space from an oversized dining room to create a butler's pantry and hidden dry goods storage—solving their storage needs without compromising the kitchen's openness.
The family dreamed of a traditional island but weren't sure it could work in the narrow space. Through careful planning, we made it happen. We layered in real wood, natural textures, and soft stone throughout to bring their Yellowstone inspiration to life in a way that feels grounded and livable.

This kitchen does exactly what the family hoped—it improves their home's function dramatically while creating a warm, nature-inspired space that supports their busy family life.
